I definitely under-appreciate Card bc I think he sucks.

Indecisive + no demonstrated "moxie" = ineffectual robo QB

That had better change this spring, but I think Ewers starts Day 1. Too much arm talent.

Hudson Card was as redshirt freshman and should have started the season as Casey Thompson’s backup

but both QBs were pocket passers  who were handicapped by a weak offensive line

I do expect Card to play better this year due to a better O-line and his experience from last year

I think Sark likes a QB to stay in pocket. In my opion a dual threat is much more effective and an additional weapon.

Sark has done pretty well with QBs.  Carson Palmer, Matt Lienart, Mark Sanchez, Jake Locker, Jalen Hurts, Tua Tagovailoa, Mac Jones. Skipped a few just good ones.

An impenetrable wall around a good passer allows him to pick a defense apart. I believe this is Sark's objective. We now have the makings for both.

The defense will get better because it can't get worse. Pass the koolaid amigos.
