A process of losing? Yeah, not buying. I can assure you every guy that didn't get to play today ain't buying.

That's fine.  Building a program takes time.  I've been through it and know first hand.  Granted, it was at the HS level, but it turned around.  Talent level changed some, but we built a program starting with the younger ones.  Seniors and Juniors never really bought in, because they were use to what they were use to.  However, the younger bought in and we had a better season the next year and a playoff run the year after that.  So yeah, it is a process.  The only difference is we didn't have the opp to select our talent.

The players simply didnt make the plays this game.  I counted three bad plays that should have been TDs.  

Seriously, Casey jumping in the air for no reason in order to throw a rainbow pass out of bounds to a wide open Worthy.  Moore had several drops one for a TD and another critical first down in 4th. Casey just had a bad game... sometimes he just needs to run for the 1t down instead of throwing across his body. His footwork is still

 You can't expect every block, every tackle, every pass and catch to be executed. Figure that in upfront and compensate for it.

Obviously we're not going change each others mind on this and that's okay. This is a team that underachieved last year and lost their 4 leader at QB and leaders on D.  Did we really expect something different than what we have right now?  Baylor lost a ton of winnable games last year and have corrected it this year.

 IMO Sam wasn't the best QB on the team. A lot of people thought we would step UP this year.

We need to try to hold the recruiting class together and work the portal to influx talent onto the roster quickly.  Sark seems to be a good recruiter so we’ll see.  
 

Iowa St lost to West Virginia.  IMO every game we have left is winnable…….also they’re all loseable.  I would bet either way but we’ll see on that too.

It is mind boggling isn’t it.  The culture talk was we were soft when Charlie came in.  In the end there is a mindset issue with this school.  I do agree we have no choice but to let it play out.  Sarks demeanor has changed over the last 2 games.  He was cool and collective it appears to be changing now to frustration.  Remember the classic looks on Charlie’s face after losses.  So I wonder who will break first the coach or the players mindset.

Just read all posts after game was over,

Defense played towin. Offense did not

On offense Texas had the better QB, RB, RwAnd TE Bayler had the best on what it takes to win games.

Game waslost by a call a firstyeat JH coach would call.It does not have secon year to improve a team I have seen coaches do it at all levels.

Next year will be no better unless there is a change on deffense coach or scheme this is not working.Several weeks ago I posted I was loseing faith in coachesnow even more so

Red said Charlie would make a good cord. ,wonder what he thinks of Sark?

Very true, but Sam was a leader and I can guarantee he wouldve put his head down and picked up those critical 1st downs on QB runs

agree... CT could have picked up several 1st downs but decides to throw (sometimes across his body without his feet being set) into a crowd. one of his best assets is his athleticism and I dont think he uses it near enough.

Just a question, but has the excitement for Matt Campbell lost its luster now?  Most thought this team would be in the B12 CC.

Aranda was 2-7 last year?  Something like that but I dont think Rhule left him a terrible team either.  Hell if my memory serves correct even Rhule had a shit season his first.   I think we will be fine but they better fix the LINE issues.  Multiple dropped passses including one for a TD made the difference.  The fake punt was absolutely stupid

I wonder how many portal guys he had?  I heard them mention a few today but I never went back and looked.  He’s done a good job with it.  I wonder if LSU would be wanting to talk to him?
