They are celebrating the 50th anniversary of the 1970 national championship team.

First time all white will be worn at home since 1950.

I just hope they don't leave a brown stain on them.

So if we got another coach how will they handle The Eyes of Texas? I don’t really blame Herman for The Eyes of Texas.  He was wanting to try to keep the team together and keep everyone happy. I mean what is the coach supposed to do? The fans and BMDs want the song and a hand full of players, but all the black players don’t want to stay so what do you do? It’s dissension on both sides no matter what you do. It’s not all of a sudden going to go away if Urban Meyer walks through the door. We’ll see what happens. There’s no real answer so that everyone goes away happy. 

Wasn’t the president supposed to come up with an education about the real meaning of the song.  I don’t think very many people standing at the end of the game with horns up are looking at the black kids in a negative meaning.  Probably none actually.  I think this new generation is reading to much into something said 100 years ago, that apparently carries a different meaning with it today.  Maybe the president failed to do his part in educating on the song

Why punish those in the UT band that want to perform the Eyes of Texas?   Call out to the Alumni Band members to make up any deficiencies.   Not showing up to the game and not performing the Eyes of Texas only rewards the “woke” members of the student band.   
 

Where in the hell is our University President and Board Members?  Is Texas truly lacking this much leadership?

And yes, those that refuse to play the Eyes of Texas you simply say “Turn in your uniform over there and your hat over here.”   “Goodbye”
