I do not think Herman cares if he is fired.  He gets paid anyways and can use TEOT, BLM, and COVID as an excuse get a job elsewhere.

We can either pay this clown to lose games, smile every post game conferences, and enable TEOT distraction or pay to bring in Urban or similar.  No more unproven Strongs or Hermans.

Herman will only be remembered for disrespecting TEOT.  Nothing else.

Yes sitting here on a Saturday afternoon wondering if we can even beat ku good lord. Lol. Oh well, on to baseball.

Hope while you were sitting around you watched FSU and Memphis. Both had good offenses abd ran special plays for certain needs. Wish I could say the sams for Texas.

I'm kind of bored today, so I decided to watch a little of the TCU and OU games.  Imo, there are 4 things the offense needs to do to be consistent and successful.

1. PLAY Jared Whiley A LOT more.  That dude is a player and his blocking is fairly decent. Play him

2. Bijan Robinson needs to touch the ball at least 15-20 times a game.  I don't care if he gets the handoff, flares out to the flat, or runs the wheel route.  He is so dynamic.  Time to take the shackles off of him.

3. They need to run more zone read with Sam keeping the ball more or run more QB power.  Bottom line, Sam needs to maximize what he is good at and that's using his legs more.

4. Lastly, If healthy, Whittington and Smith need to be on the field at the same time.  I don't care about XYZ WR spots.  Those 2 are the most dynamic WRs with the ball in space.  Nothing against Moore or Eagles, but they disappear too much.

To recap, a good mixture of Bijan and Sam running the ball, play more Whiley, and use Whittington and Smith at the same time A LOT (when healthy).

3. They need to run more zone read with Sam keeping the ball more or run more QB power.  Bottomline, Sam needs to maximize what he is good at and thats using his legs more. So far, he's done that to compensate for the lack of running game we've had. The more we can run the ball with backs who are supposed to run the ball, the less we put Sam in jeopardy.

Agree, its weird how its worked out where one of the two seem to be hurt for each game. I do think Moore is a star in the making tho.

Sorry, pet peeve. Correct spelling is           “a lot”, not “alot”.
Yeah, I saw it as soon as I hit post.  Figured it wouldn't matter enough to edit.  My wife is a writer and she is always correcting me.

I should've been clear on this.  Sam has used his legs, but only in the 4th qtr or final 5 minutes.  I was thinking he should run more during the game to hold the DE more.  I saw many plays where he handed off instead of keeping it when the DE crashed down.  Not a lot of keeps by Sam, but enough to create some doubt or hesitation by the DE.

With well thought out game planning like this, you might apply for an offensive assistant position. Doesn't seem like anyone else on staff has figured these things out.

we're going to come back tommorrow and we' going coach them hard, tommorrow we're going to push, we're going to continue to challenge them,we're going to clean up the mistakes that were made.

Statement by a losing coach. No by a coach that just beat the # 5 team.
