I was reading a story on ESPN app last night. The story listed winners and losers among the conferences. Of course, I had to wipe off the drool when it came to the SEC, which they again declared to be the best conference in the nation.

But he didn't stop there. The writer then ridiculed the Big 12 defenses, under a picture of OU's defense. It made fun of how this conference's defenses giving up 30-40-50 points a game.

And I'm thinking, two supposedly "good" SEC teams both gave up 70 points – in the SAME GAME.

I felt foolish to try to keep reading, so I didn't.

Yet the Big XII was 3-1 vs the $ec with all teams being underdogs. So maybe what he's really saying is the $ec defenses, while great, can't compete with the offensives of the Big XII?

Is Cosmi really a guard who played RT last season?  I know he is “undersized” at 286#.

I think the thought is that Cosmi will slide over to LT.

Absolutely not. Cosmi is a tackle all the way. Official roster has him at 295 lbs at 6'5. Remember, Connor Williams was smaller than that most of his career at Texas.

Wish him nothing but the best of luck! He will have his degree. You can tell how much he was loved and respected by the comments on his post from players and coaches. I think he will be great for SMU.

Will be interesting to see Jones’ development this offseason. If he locks up the RT spot then he is well ahead of schedule.

He’s tackle all day long and him being under 300 hasn’t hurt him too much. He’s looking like he’s a hard gainer like Connor Williams was.

Won't footwork and quicks help Cosmi in pass pro if he's moved to LT?

286 lbs ain't small and it didn't hurt his performance last year. Yes, it'd help his NFL prospects if he's 300+. Who are your projected Starting 5 on the OL next year, Daniel?
