Football practices - any info?

I personally will not read too much into this.  Tre Watson is versatile , Daniel Young is a bull that doesn't do anything great, but does a lot of things well, and Ingram is also versatile, but more electric.  Johnson will get more and more snaps as the season goes along, imo.  Has to stay healthy though.  That's the only issue with him.  Carter will transfer after this year. Have no clue what Tristan Houston is doing, but Kudos to him for sticking it out.  Have no idea what to do with Porter.

I only posted that because I'm a big fan of Kirk Johnson and had my hopes renewed with the recent promising practice reports.

Totally agree.  I want Kirk to succeed much like I did with Jordan Shipley.  Thought Jordan was injury prone and we would never see the Burnet bullet's full talent grace DKR.  It did and I'm hoping for the same outcome for Kirk.

Emotionally I am with you on Johnson.  But here is something to consider - Young and Watson are experienced.  And both have good hands as well.  But remember this - it's notable that a true freshman (Ingram) was included with these upperclassmen.  He is no Ricky Williams or Earl Campbell, but he is..... special.

Ha, ha!  Don't even talk to me about insurance.  It is the biggest factor that drives up medical costs - prescriptions, doctoring, nursing, hospitals, clinics, etc.  And, admit it, you lawyers on here are the culprits.

It is a real consideration for you prospective doctors and nurses (Yes, nurses are no longer considered doctors handmaidens and are absolute targets for lawsuits).

Also, my schooling never ends.  Assuming I live to 80 and with college, med school, residenting, seminars, quarterly studies, etc., it is not a stretch to say I have amassed about 15+ years of schooling in my profession.  Or about 20% of my life, should I live to 80.

So, considering you can also be sued into financial and career ruin, is the medical field really something you want to explore?

LOL! My brother, the lawyer, and I argue about this all of the time.  He says the law profession is just weeding out the bad apples in the medical profession.  My question to him is who weeds out the bad apples in the law profession?

Few Note worthy things-

* It has been confirmed Andrew Fitz was asked to move to TE and wasn't for the move so elected to hang it up . Wanted his degree from UT.

* Davante Davis is back at corner and Jeffrey McCulloch should start vs Maryland. Escaped the Injury bug.

*Sam Cosmi had a great camp but still behind Kerstetter in the depth chart

* Danny Young will most likely get the start. Its clear the K Ingram is the best back on the team though

* The offense is better but time will tell about how much. There having a yard time running against the Defense but getting all the yards they want passing. And its noted Defense is really having to work hard on stopping the run game.

* 5 best defenders are Boyd, Johnson, Omenihu, Hager

* Big game for C Anderson right out of the shoot, matching up  with former 5* Byron Cowart . We will see what he is made of.

*None of the Freshman O-line are anywhere near ready. Junior is the closest but he even needs more time.

* BIG NOTE- Pay attention to who attends the USC game,  The players that come means they are very interested.  No invites are going out to players who isn't showing interest. If a recruit is there then it means something.

* word is there is a couple surprise visitors coming to the USC game but will not be told to public because they are committed elsewhere and  that never benefits the program.
