I understand both sides, Seahorn is saying he would’ve committed with an earlier offer and Bear is saying that a miss by the coaching staff shouldn’t be deemed as arrogance, simply a miss. I thought they were having a healthy conversation, we shouldn’t make this a bigger ordeal than what it is. 

Texas missed on white in order to pursue better players and to be honest I think we can get those players next cycle. Let’s discuss our remaining targets and expectations for next season.

assuming that we regress on d and improve offensively, we can get to 9 or 10. Our schedules a lot easier next year than it was this year.

The message I was trying to get across was that the recruitment could have been handled better. That is all. 

It’s not personal for me that the kid didn’t end up at Texas and I never make it personal with the staff. I just provided commentary based on what I knew. 

I wish kids the best of luck regardless of where they end up because it’s a blessing to even have the opportunity they are receiving. 

100% with you on moving the conversation forward and discussing the remaining targets on the board.

Absolutely. Given Texas’ dilemma at tackle, getting a 3 year starter FBS starter would be fantastic. And not to mention he should have no problem getting into school.

Nope, they just count towards the 85 scholarships number.
