Gloating reminds me when I was at UT and we lost 33-31 to a third ranked Colorado squad on a last second FG. They talked so much trash and flashed the horns down after the game. We had a losing record and almost beat those clowns and they were taunting.

Our O play calling is so f##king erratic! What is Gilbert doing?! One drive GREAT calls and 5 drives utterly shitty play calls! What in the F@#K is wrong with him?!

WVU is blitzing hard every f##king 3rd down! EVERY SINGLE ONE! And we can't f##king buy a screen or a slant or something other than a f##king drop back pass or slow developing play!

That was our game to lose. And the coaches f##ked the team.

Agree, not sure if our frosh QB is quite comfortable with the 3rd and long scenarios. Or Gilbert is just calling crappy plays that don't give him enough protection or decent routes by the WRs.

Yes, very disappointing that the D has finally shown up and the offense isn't coming to play. No plays in the middle of the field has been our calling card all season. Hard to believe none of our WRs can run intermediate routes up the middle. Scheme issue there.

On a positive note, all of my bitching about Haynes turned reverse psychology today and he had two picks. Bitching about Leonard dropping passes in the first half resulted in his turnaround with some amazing grabs in the second half.

West Virginia is a good team. Agree the play calling was suspect, but I thought D'onta, Shack, and others were kind of banged up in the 4th qtr. No excuse. Dorian Leonard was great today, but I would've liked to see Dev Duverney in that spot because he mighty have been able to take it to the house.

I am utterly mind blown. Gilbert is a problem and he is costing us games. I hate it for the kids. His play calling is just unreal. We have arguably the best rb in the country, a qb that can throw, and wr's that can flat out play and his play calling is creating a low ceiling for the O. It's unbelievable. He keeps opponents in the game and keeps us from being as good as we can be.

Gilbert is not maximizing his talent. Fast and tall WRs running short outs instead of medium and downfield routes. I don't get it. How about sending Johnson beyond the sticks on that fourth down play? Did Johnson run a crappy route and have poor down marker awareness? Who knows.

Agreed, they are no slouch. But that was our game to lose. We had the ball with 4 mins left and failed and got it back with 1:30ish left,managed time poorly and let it all slip away.

To me it hurts much worst to have played well enough to win, but not.

The D is absolutely coming into their own and that's a great thing to see.

This offense can only go as far as Buechele can take them. Great guts shown by Shane today as he was knocked around. All that and he was still throwing for the win at the gun. Also, make them prove they can stop Foreman before you turn to the pass.
