Texas vs. Oklahoma

It looks like defenses have begun to neutralize the 18 wheeler package. That means more pressure on Beuchele.

I would run Foreman early and often in the next one.
As they like to say on The Ticket, here's a HSO or Hot Sports Opinion.

The 18 Wheeler has run it's course. It is now nothing more than a gimmick.

A few hours of film watching has shown defensive coaches that if you just tackle low on Swoopes, he goes right down. Every single time. Does not pump his legs.

They've also noticed that Swoopes never throws. When he is in the game, he gets the ball. He will not throw. They stack the box.

I don't know why we don't see the Tim Tebow type pass where he fakes a run and dumps it over the top at the last second. It would fool EVERYONE in the stadium.

Mark, that would require some actual coaching.

Played in a golf tournament this afternoon so I just got through watching the game.

Am I too late for the gumbo?
Nope.  She just finished it.  Hustle over and you can make it in time for supper.

We did it last year... In this very game actually. Then for a long touchdown against Baylor. So it's there.... They're holding onto it for some reason? No idea, but we saw it last year

I'm not a D1 OC, but you have to have a threat of something else off of it. Maybe a counter with Foreman, a jet sweep off it, or maybe, just maybe a pass here and there. Keep the safety's back and freeze the LBs.
In other words, I agree Bry. It was Jay Norvell making that call though.
