I'm a huge fan of Charlie, the person, but even I'm ready concede that a change is needed.  Kirk Herbstreet can kiss my left nut and defend him all day long, but I just have this little thing to say to him...672.  That is inexcusable from a person that boasts he knows how to coach defense.  Rip it off now.  Prepare for the new coach.  Don't wait until November.  Make the change now.

At this point WVU, KSU, Baylor and Tech look like probable losses. Iowa State is playing much better. Kansas is inconsistent and a probable win for Texas. Right now, the only team that is playing as bad or worse than Texas is TCU.

I doubt that we could defend against a Pop Warner team.  Don't know what else to say about our defense.

The truth is after seeing the defense get shredded today I realized that Charlie has been involved with the defense since last spring but he left Vance as DC in name only probably because of their friendship. Now I see that with Charles in charge it is the same defense with the same awful execution. Guys, it has been so long since Charlie was a defensive coach the new offenses that teams play now have long passed him bye. I am no longer upset with Charlie ....I just now feel sorry for him, but hey your going to get over an $7 or $8 million dollar buyout so buy your self a beautiful $800K home in Florida, invest the rest conservatively and spend wisely you will live better than 98% of the rest of us on this board.

Am I the only that is noticing the slight improvement from week to week, 50 to 49 to 45? Before long we'll hold someone under 40.

After watching the last 3 games..I am convinced we dont have the talent we think we have on defense..players make plays..coaches can coach 7 ways to sunday but if you dont have the personnel to compete then whos at fualt..i just dont see smart great players on defense..imo

And I know I'm going to get blasted for this, but Malik Jefferson is way overrated.
