I planted my feet in his camp as long as I could. Love the man. I just can't watch this team lose in the fashion they've been losing any longer. Last year I said he had to win eight games which is still feasible. That however doesn't take away from the fact that we should have beaten both Cal and OSU. This game proved to be winnable and we simply couldn't get it done again.

Agreed. Even IF he pulled a rabbit out a hat and finishes with 8 wins, (and that's a HUGE if,) I do not see him as the head football coach next season. I'm pretty sure that the discussions are already taking place among the bosses. They were at the game.

I try to find silver linings. This was an entitled mess of slack-offs before Strong got here. We needed the culture change and I never question the work-ethic of our players now. He's done some good for the program. Just not enough.

We are not a good team and it is as simple as that which is a direct indictment to Charlie Strong as our Head Coach in year 3 of a 5 year contract. Our defense is terrible and does not even execute the basic of tackiing fundementals nor can our secondary handle any kind of pass coverage as they are only capable of utilizing High School schems based on zone coverage.  When you realize that OU was missing over half of their starters towards the end of the game,  plus they had 3 turnovers and yet they still won this game you just shake your head and realize that it is time to move in another direction.
