So aggie mods think they're going to finish Strong and most Longhorn mods think we're going to finish strong. One fanbase will will have a meltdown come NSD the other will throw a part. Should be fun. I hope I am in the party group.
Liucci really doesn't think aggy is going to finish strong. Hamm does but he's Hamm.

Where did last year's class rank after the defections and disqualifications of Cherry, Lampkin, Johnson, and Clarington?

Just curious

That's nearly impossible to calculate because other schools had attrition. See A&M. They lost Murray and Bradford may never play football again.

In terms of player average, losing Cherry/Lampkin/Johnson probably actually helped us. They weren't rated very high.

Yeah because Cherry, Lampkin, and Johnson were 3 star prospects right?

Yes, from a players average standpoint losing Cherry/Lampkin/Johnson likely helped us. I'm not sure how it impacted the team rankings, but probably nothing significant either way. The only player that probably had some impact on player averages and team rankings was Clarington.

Like I said above though, every team has attrition. It's almost impossible to recalculate the rankings. We will lose some guys from the '16 class eventually, that's just how this works.

Do you think Mark Jackson, Erick Fowler & DJax sign with Texas on NSD February 3rd?

Super Football Brainiacs on Jordan Elliot

-- "Yesterday I noted that the door may have cracked open for Texas with Elliot.  That may have been an understatement.  I’ll leave it at that."

Elliot is so indecisive, hopefully he makes the wise decision and commits to the good guys finally

Super Football Brainiacs on Chris Daniels

-- Texas hasn’t been recruiting Daniels long but they’ve turned young Daniels head in a hurry. He apparently had an amazing time on the official visit. And something that’s also really helped Texas is a former teammate and close friend of Daniels in freshman starting OL, Patrick Vahe. Daniels’ Sr said that Vahe is a guy that Daniels isn’t just friends with but also respects immensely and in a lot of ways, “looks up to himâ€. Right now I get the sense that young Daniels likes Texas and they may be at the top of his list.

Chris is also looking at Tennessee (still has OV there), aggy (also a visit) and ou.

Ultimately I think Chris Daniels is ours on February 3rd

How many DT's are we taking? We seem to be in a good place with Taylor, Giles, Daniels, Elliot, Southall & Wilbon already committed, my top 3 would be Taylor, Elliot & Giles

Super Football Brainiacs on Joshua Jacobs

-- Texas will still host Katy (TX) RB Kyle Porter this weekend, but if the Texas staff still wants to take 2 RBs in the 2016 class they could take a look at RB Joshua Jacobs from Tulsa, OK. I was told recently that the Texas staff has seen his film and he is on their board and could be a late offer if Texas misses out on some of their other targets. If you haven’t watched Jacobs SR highlights, i suggest you change that. As K has said, “This young man could be devastating in Gilbert’s offense.â€

He is listed at 5'10, 200 with a posted 40 time of 4.40 (I have no idea if that is accurate.  HUDL also says 4.40 but another site says 4.50 -- either way he does scoot well in the film)
