Per a poster on Texags who coached Jones in HS and is an aggie alum. He said Texas leads for Jones and thinks he will end up at Texas.
Yes, he is taking another trip back there with his mom
It will be an unofficial visit which means it out of their pocket
Not a good sign
But apparently we are looking alittle better which Erick Fowler, who is a stud
Let's see if he shows for an OV

Just to clarify - I'm fairly certain that the unofficial to Talahassee was going to be immediately following the Official to Gainesville. So out of pocket is really just the cost of a rental car for the relatively short drive.

Translated – he didn't pick us and it can't be because he didn't like us best. So it has to be a mom problem. And because I'm dumb enough to think a mom can be overcome because "michigan" and "harbaugh" and "michigan" I'm saying it goes to NSD.
IMO, all the kid needs to do is see a thermometer on game day in Ann Arbor. And every Big 10 school on their schedule for that matter. lol

He committed to LSU over summer but we never quit working him
CBs all say Texas but they are dated
Higs says staff feels good about him
Higs also thinks he can play many positions (Ive always thought he was weakside 3-4 OLB type -- but he at least thinks Fowler could be a solution to the ILB issue if DJax does go FSU. And assuming MJ plays outside)
Key will be getting him in for an OV and let Charlie work his magic
Fowler is at beast wherever he plays. He is a take under any circumstance
He has set his OVs -- Austin Jan 15, followed by Baton Rouge Jan 22. He may also OV to UCLA and/or Oregon. Fowler has not used any OVs yet.
