Watching the Semper fi game and think Fitz is playing well, but one trait he needs to break is he is consistently the slowest one off the ball. His quickness and strength covers it, but he really needs to get off the ball quicker. Only negative I've seen.

He might just be timid with the cameras on him. I think he can get over that. His burst in his film seems pretty legit.

yea I noticed that as well.   Not sure why but he is slow off the snap but once he is going he is pretty good.

Like i said, his strength and quickness after are fantastic. This is my first time really seeing him and I'm impressed. He is hard to block. If he can improve his first step, look out. He will be this year's Conner Williams (in terms of surprises).
On the other side, Okafor looks ready right now. Explosive run blocker and solid in pass protection. Really long arms and great frame. The Horns got themselves 2 good ones.

Sumlin is dead man walking since Kyler left. He's going to have a great season next year unless the aggie booster's can come up with the $$$ now.

Sumlin:

2014 Fire DC

2015 Fire OC

2116 Fire Himself

Not much discussion of Alton Robinson (6'2,220)

aggy commit who is supposed to visit

Here is a write-up on him --

"Robinson is an instinctive pass-rusher who will be capable of playing an even-front 7-technique DE or an odd-front standing edge rusher at the Power Five level. Possesses good height w/great length and high frame potential. Uses swims/rips well. Unusually high production from odd-front DE spot for HS team. Gets hands up quickly, regularly disengages vs. run. Improved get-off consistency will make Robinson an even fiercer pass-rusher."

Holland on Whaley --

"According to a couple of sources, the biggest concern four-star Beaumont Central running back Devwah Whaley has with Texas is the future of running backs coach Tommie Robinson. Whaley committed to Arkansas this weekend but is still making his visit to Texas on January 15, where he hopes to address that concern."

Holland thinks Cal is a serious threat for Lil’Jordan Humphrey

Higs disagrees

Still watching the game and Okafor is by far the best OL on the West. In fact, it looks like Okafor and 4 Marcus Hutchins out there.

Talked to a source close to Lil' Jordan who said he's strongly considering playing bball in college. Which is weird bc it is well known he's a better football player and has much more potential football wise. This one could get interesting.
