The roster (last 5 recruiting classes)

As a former TE and glorified "tackle eligible" a couple of simple blocking rules to remember:

  1. NEVER let a defender cross your face untouched
  2. ALWAYS account for the defender outside your inside OL - don't let him run free

This is a nice cut-up of Connor Williams pancakes.  Kid made some mistakes - but you can see how much potnetial is there.

I also noticed Swoopes drifting backwards and not stepping up into the pocket. It was often collapsing, but he needs to demonstrate more courage and presence. He's not elusive or fast enough to break containment on the outside.

Fortunately, Heard is

Gray, Daje, and maybe Williams or Burt?
Good question. I honestly don't know enough about Oklahoma State's roster.

As for the WRs (Daje and Burt). I don't think they would start at either Baylor or TCU. Maybe at OU. Burt has a ton of potential but is a FR.

As for Gray. I'm not sure he's better than Perine, Linwood or Green. He might have a shot to start at TCU, but I don't think he would start at OU or Baylor.

As for Williams. TCU and Baylor both have decent tackles, I would think Williams would have a difficult time starting at either spot as a FR. I think he would have a decent shot at OU because they have offensive line issues.

All in all, I'm not sure we have more than 1 player here and there that could start at programs like TCU/Baylor/OU (on the offensive side of the ball at least).
