From a scouting report I read on Soso, the writer thought the spread would fit Soso's skills the best. Soso is good catching the ball out of the backfield, however his straight up running style might mean a future move to WR. Compared him to a less explosive De'Anthony Thomas. Thomas was another five star RB who played for Oregon where he was a RB, WR, PR, and KR.if we go spread, who would be best then?
Soso? then Brossette?
If I had a magic wand (that worked), I would go Soso and Warren. I think Warren is so good, he will adjust to whatever. He just might be devastating in college.
But I wont cry if its Soso and Brossette either
Seems like we are having one of those "good problem to have" things going on now
Suchomel thinks all 3 of Soso, Warren and Burt may or will until NSD.
Which could set up a potential fax machine race between Soso and Warren.
Do any of you still have fax machines? The race might be decided by who can even find one
I'm hoping he does. The more time for Strong & Watson to sell their vision for our new offense, the better.Anyone else think Murray could pull a fast one and schedule an official visit this next weekend to Texas?
can you figure the crap from Hamm and loochhhh on what kind of interview they would do at this juncture in the game of recruiting on what has happened this week.....Hook'emOne poster has said -- Daylon Mack..."Is no longer doing any interviews with the A&M media"
I don't really know how to take that tweet. It could be positive or negative. Could be something like Boyd trolling the aggy or it could be negative like we are getting trolled by some guys.
The only good thing is, guys like Malik and our staff would be able to prepare for it rather than being blindsided.
yesDoes anyone think Murray would be a NSD flip and committ to Texas? That just seems like putting the knife in Aggie and then twisting it.
Plus creates alot more drama and attention for both parties. I would think that if this does happen then he flips before NSD.
What is the importance of Murray taking an OV? He took a visit...supposedly it was on his own $. Could he not still commit/sign with UT?I'm hoping he does. The more time for Strong & Watson to sell their vision for our new offense, the better.
If so, then Sumlin must have really pissed the Murrays off.yes
NO on the last writing
They were probably told how bad it is at UT under CS. Malik since he's already in school can tell his friends exactly what it's like at Texas. It's always easier to sell someone who is a referral from a relative or friend. My take is - Malik probably got an earful over the weekend of the negative recruiting that these recruits were probably told.
For instance, Mack talked about how his visit was so much different than he expected.
Daylon Mack is apparently no longer doing interviews with A&M media per Taylor Hamm.
Hip, I'd say the idea (from just my view I guess) is that we need four quarterbacks all capable of competing. Meaning four darn good ones.Soooooooo... If Malik is telling Kai Locksley that we really need a QB - what does that say about Malik's confidence in Murray coming here.
Kind of funny reading the Gig'em board on 247. Their only explanation for Texas success is $$$.
Bingo!!With many of the top recruits in this recruiting class… one intangible that I sense is… Leadership.
.....
An OV isn't critical, but it's two days to see everything UT has to offer versus one. And UT picks up the tab for him and his family. What is the importance of Murray taking an OV? He took a visit...supposedly it was on his own $. Could he not still commit/sign with UT?
