I think you're going a bit overboard here.
Not sure you could have made my point better. . . .

I'll give my 2 cents worth, which is way more than what it is really worthPerhaps you could clear up your point b/c I honestly have no clue what it is. Are you saying this program is on par with what we were in former years and that our standards are the same?
They are not. Yet.
fwiw, as a huge fan of condescension, i didn't take anything in this thread that way at all. i'm not even sure what the fuss is about.I received an email from a poster in this thread telling me I have been very condescending. While I was trying to simply defend myself, I would like to apologize to others who feel I was in fact condescending. That was not the intent. The comment was made that "if I knew anything about the program's recent history..." to which I replied that I've had season tickets for twenty years, was not meant to incite, rather to explain. Apologies if it was taken another way.
I'm with Dr. Gilbert and STP - I just wanna see Texas fight for 4 quarters and astute halftime adjustments made. Both BU and OU have better talent than UT right now, but they did last year too. Progress will be averaging more than 3 YPC and > 6 yds per reception which is where our offense is currently - way too conservative!Yes, the fan base that once (not so long ago) made fun of other teams for taking pride in moral victories is hoping for that very thing.
Not condescending at all in my opinion. I enjoy your articles, keep your head up and keep em coming!I received an email from a poster in this thread telling me I have been very condescending. I can only laugh. . . .. so instead of responding to a PRIVATE email like an adult. . . . .you run to the board and cry like a "victim"I received an email from a poster in this thread telling me I have been very condescending. you're focused bear, i'll give you that. This kind of pettiness is what happens when you can't buy beer at the game.
Echeese, look back through this thread and please tell me who attacked whom. I did not attack you; I defended my opinions.
I do have a right to defend myself on this board,
Not playing the victim at all, but when you tell me things such as "if you knew anything about Texas football history" and making it seem like I am new to this writing thing PUBLICLY, then yes, I can show that I am not new to Texas football or writing publicly.
I am done with this argument; should've never gotten mixed up in it in the first place. I apologize to admin and other posters.
And while you don't know this, when I posted my own articles on another site, you told me a few times you liked them by the way. That's before you found out who I was I guess.
It makes no sense to like me as a poster but not as a writer. I am the same person and say the same things in the same way.
This is crazy. I didn't say I was attacked.
