The Lions' "Honolulu Blue" is my favorite team color because it's truly unique in sports.  It's also my favorite NFL uniform.

The helmets and uni's are showbiz glitter, IMO.  I could see Coach Strong going back to the old leather helmets if he had his druthers (except for Ash).  It's what's in the uni's and under the helmets that really counts.

That photo of the Browns is a photoshop, SFlonghorngirl.  You can tell by looking at it closely.  Never in their history have they worn brown pants with striping.

Agree, but this thread is for HS'ers who enjoy seeing the latest gear and sharing opinions about it.  I'm not advocating that UT change anything about the Longhorns' uniforms.

North Carolina

Ohio State

LSU (although they wear white at home, so maybe this doesn't count?)

Florida ( I like either their blue or orange pants best, but their whites are good too!)

Another old SWC foe, the University of Houston, got new Nike uniforms this year too.  Combinations of red, white, and black!  IMO, it's overkill but maybe not a bad thing for the Cougars.

New kelly green uniforms for Marshall University's Thundering Herd.  I'm not a fan of these gradient, hard to read numerals.  It's hell on both football officials and press box spotters!
