The annual Texas Orange & White Spring Game took place today and yielded a large recruiting dividend for head Coach Charlie Strong in the form of Converse Judson’s Keivon Ramsey (6-1, 175 lbs.). Ramsey, a hard-hitting cornerback for the Rockets, picked up his offer from Texas on April 3 and pulled the trigger on it as the Spring game culminated in Austin. Ramsey, a 3-star prospect, held offers from Big 12 schools Oklahoma and Baylor as well as Oregon State and UT-San Antonio. Ramsey joins Rockwall-Heath safety Deshon Elliott as the second defensive back commit in the 2015 class.
