On Wednesday, the Longhorns landed a commitment from Aledo 2024 cornerback Jaden Allen.
With his commitment, Allen becomes the first pledge in Texas’s 2024 recruiting class. Additionally, with his intention to play on the Forty Acres, Jaden will be set to rejoin his older brother Bryan Allen Jr., a class of 2021 Texas signee.
Prior to his announcement, the sophomore cornerback had already received six scholarship offers from schools such as LSU, Mississippi State and USC.
During his sophomore football season at Aledo, the 5’10” cornerback recorded 28 tackles and 2 interceptions.
