Jim Schlossnagle and Texas Baseball won the Aiden Robbins sweepstakes on Wednesday, securing a commitment from the prized Seton Hall portal transfer. Robbins, an outfielder who played 2 seasons for the Pirates, chose the Longhorn Baseball program over Tennessee and Texas A&M.
Robbins played high school ball at Holy Ghost Preparatory school in Yardley, Pennsylvania, before signing with Seton Hall. He started in 43 games as a freshman, and made his mark at the plate this season, batting .422 with 38 RBI’s and 6 home runs.
His commitment comes on the heels of the commitments of former Mississippi State pitcher Luke Dotson, and Georgia State versatile player Kaleb Freeman.
