I was ready.

I was ready to lay into Mack Brown. I was ready to lay into the defense for giving up 40 points. I was ready to start throwing in the towel, but as chanting “One More Year” at Kyle Field but if you have to chant that, you know he is as good as gone. The writing was on the wall and with many teams looking for a quarterback, he won’t have to take the BS in College Station for much longer.

– Okay, Florida State is very good but Alabama just dominated LSU. If the Crimson Tide do manage to lose to either Auburn or Mizzou, there will be no SEC team in the title game.

– Speaking of Auburn, Texas fans should remember Nick Marshall. A JUCO recruit that Texas offered and wanted but supposedly “backed off” is tearing it up at Auburn. Sure he may not have thrown it all over the field but he did have 215 yards rushing against Tennessee. He is one of the reasons the Auburn Tigers are 9-1. I hope Mack Brown didn’t back off when he could of had that talent. You shouldn’t be afraid to recruit the best QB talent because like it was said in the postgame “you’re one play away from being the starter.”

– Texas Tech and Miami (FL). Thanks for playing but you’re now officially overrated. Both teams were blown out by teams that shouldn’t be blowing them out.

– Well, maybe it was a good idea that Mack Brown didn’t win the 2009 National Championship and Will Muschamp didn’t become the head coach. Now, if the Gators do fire Muschamp, the Longhorns might have to force out Mack Brown because if they wait a year they may not have any good coaches to go after.
