UPDATE: Case McCoy and Jordan Hicks are the two players sent home from San Antonio according to reports.
UPDATE: At 11:00 am Alamo Bowl press conference Mack Brown told media that two players had been suspended and sent home for violating team rules. He did not mention player names and did not answer particulars about the situation.
Mack also mentioned that he had not yet met with and discussed the suspensions with the team but would be meeting with them at 11:45 pm.
Mack declined to answer a question from @kbohls regarding if the accused were starters and if there was a team curfew. #ut #horns #hookem

One day before the Texas Longhorns and Oregon State Beavers meet in the Valero Alamo Bowl, two Longhorn football players are being investigated for an alleged sexual assault which took place early Friday morning, according to San Antonio’s KENS5.
Since no arrests have been made, the names of the players involved have not been released. The story is troubling on several accounts but what appears to be true is two players were out in the early hours of the morning in a hotel that was not the Marriott River Center (the team’s hotel) according to the report.
Updates to follow as additional information becomes available.
