The 6-foot-6, 285-pound standout from Grayson High School in Loganville, Georgia, previously committed to Florida. He chose Texas over other top programs, including Georgia, LSU, Tennessee, USC, Auburn, and South Carolina. Originally from Cameroon, Mbatchou is ranked as the No. 31 defensive lineman and No. 291 overall prospect in the 2025 class, according to 247Sports.
