The winningest collegiate volleyball program in the country will be in Austin on Sunday to face No. 2 Texas Volleyball (3-0), marking the Longhorns first time to host a match at Moody Center. No. 6 Stanford (3-1) leads the all-time series 25-11 over the Longhorns. The last time the Cardinal played Texas in Austin, Stanford swept the Longhorns at Gregory Gym in 2023. Their rematch last year in California, another sweep by the perennial powerhouse.
Two of Texas’ three wins this season were road sweeps of Top 15 teams No. 12 Creighton and No. 8 Wisconsin. In Houston last week the Longhorns dropped only one set in their victory over Rice – making tomorrow’s contest consequential against No. 6 Stanford whose one loss this season was to No. 1 Nebraska.
