With less than three weeks to go before the Texas Longhorns open their season against Colorado State, Steve Sarkisian’s team finds themselves ranked 4th nationally in the Associated Press Preseason Top-25 Poll. The poll, which was released on Monday, August 12, finds the Southeastern Conference with four teams in the Top-10, and a total of nine in the Top-25.
The Georgia Bulldogs hold the top spot, followed by Ohio State, Oregon, Texas and Alabama. Ole Miss rings in at No. 6 followed by Notre Dame, Penn State, Michigan and Florida State.
The Longhorns are also ranked 4th in the LBM US LBM Coaches Poll which was released last week.
