The SEC spotlight is shining bright on the Forty Acres. On Tuesday afternoon, the Southeastern Conference unveiled its 2025 Preseason Coaches’ All-SEC teams, and ten Longhorns earned their place among the conference’s elite.

Leading the charge are five first-team selections: running back Quintrevion Wisner, offensive lineman DJ Campbell, linebacker Anthony Hill Jr., edge rusher Colin Simmons, and defensive back Michael Taaffe. These standout athletes headline a Texas squad that’s stacked with talent and ready to make noise in its second SEC campaign.

Joining them are second-team honorees Malik Muhammad (DB) and Jack Bouwmeester (P), while Trevor Goosby (OL), Trey Moore (LB), and Will Stone (KOS) round out the third team.

For Hill, Moore, Muhammad, and Stone, this marks a repeat appearance on the preseason All-SEC list—proof of their consistency and impact. Last season, Stone earned second-team honors as a kickoff specialist, while Hill, Moore, and Muhammad were named to the third team.

The countdown is on: Texas kicks off the 2025 season with a blockbuster road matchup against No. 3/2 Ohio State on Saturday, Aug. 30. The game, set for an 11 a.m. CT kickoff inside the iconic Ohio Stadium, will be featured on FOX’s Big Noon Kickoff, with ESPN’s College GameDay broadcasting live from the Buckeyes’ campus.

With a roster full of rising stars and seasoned leaders, the Longhorns are poised to make a statement—and the nation will be watching.
