I spoke with a someone this morning......of the people I know who would have any hint of what's going on or who might be the leader in the club house, it would be him. He stated he doesn't know who it will be, but he was confident it wouldn't be Saban. That gave me the sad.

Maybe Patterson already has an answer from Saban and Fisher. We just really don't know anything here. Charlie Strong is a good coach but personally I've hoped it's Briles all along. Baylor didn't play well last night but it's still freaking Baylor playing in a BCS bowl. That in itself speaks of the ability of Art Briles. He won a conference title mostly 2-3 star athletes. It's scary to think what he could do with mostly 4-5 star athletes. Give him the budget to hire a great staff / DC and we're cooking in no time.

You seriously don't think Briles is a good coach? Really? I mean we can disagree on the candidates and their merit, but to say he's not a good coach. I think what he's done in Waco alone tells me Briles is pretty darn good. You want Mack over Briles? Well, enjoy RGIII playing strong safety. I'm simply saying Briles might be our best fit. That's certainly subject for debate, but to disparage his accomplishments is disingenuous, IMO.
