Thanks for the reference bud. I'm going to hop over and chat a bit with the WVU folks.

I see the start of a great rivalry. It is so nice to be rid of a boil on our asses named Texas A un M and replace them with such a great university that can actually play football. Hard fought sports, with the best team winning is what these two great universities have in common.

I also hear nothing but evil things about playing at Mountaineer Field  and is made that way by the tremendous support the team gets from it's die hard fans.

I do hope some of you will travel to Austin when the Mountaineers take on our Longhorns. I think you will like Austin. People are laid back, food is good and the beer is always cold. Just hope you are not too happy on the way home but either way welcome to the Big XII and Horn Sports..

Most WVU fans will tell you they think Oklahoma will be our biggest rival in the Big 12, but mostly because of the 48-28 blasting we gave them in the Fiesta Bowl. I really hope that we can get a good rivalry going with Texas. We wont be stealing any kids out of Texas that you guys want but we are trying to get a pipeline going.

You cant force a rivalry but this could be a good one. Your dominant defense and our Eer Raid offense.

The natural rivalries will unfold as time goes by. The Texas vs. Oklahoma Red River Rivalry is one that you will become familiar with. Texas plays OU every year at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas. It is a battle, To say the least. Texas owns oklahoma all-time and we despise the Sooners and their land-stealing asses. as far as recruiting is concerned you will pick up some Texas players you normally wouldn't have by playing in the Big XII.

Kinda wish your QB would graduate early and think Austin..or..is that being too friendly?

Guess you dont realize that both our 2nd string and 3rd string QB's are from Texas. Paul Mallard and Ford Childress. Ford is the son of Houston Oiler great Ray Childress and he is going to be a good one.
