If OSU wins and we win? Then Mack can't claim a BCS birth or B12 championship, but the team finishes on a high note? This gives Powers cover to make the change because Mack didn't do what he said he'd do this year.

He can claim a share of the Big 12 Championship, but it would be as tainted as the one Oklahoma claimed last year after finishing tied 8-1 with a Kansas St team that beat them.

Texas winning a Big 12 title outright and going to a BCS bowl would IMHO lead to Mack leaving after the season much more than if OSU and Texas win.
