I noticed Kenny Viccaro was being worked out by Mike Zimmer, the DC of the Bengals. They draft at #17, and that's about right in the range. Dallas at #18 also is a possibility.

Kenny didn't run at the PD because of a mild hip flexors. I suspect the real reason is he didn't want another sub par time like the 4.63 he did at the Combine.

Jeremy Hills ran a 4.38 at 5'10 and 203. He also had a vertical of 35.5 and benched 20 reps at 225. Could he be the next sleeper to come out of UT and thrive in the NFL?

Speaking of "sleepers," DJ Monroe might have a say so in this category. The guy could instantly upgrade some teams Special Teams as a kickoff-punt returner. He also ran a 4.38, but several scouts had him at 4.25. That's not fast thats

Marquis Goodwin had a day. He started by jumping an incredible 42 inches in the vertical and ended the day with a perfect "one handed" catch of a Vince Young pass. He just runs crazy fast and looks so smooth and effortless in his movements.

Word is he spent a lot of time with the Eagles scouts. Seems Chip Kelly is looking for speed in his soon to be installed offense in Philadelphia. Well they don't come any faster than Marquis and there is no one in the NFL that will be able to stay with him on a fly route.

Alex Okofor participated in everything. He's 6'4 and a half, but he looks like a wide receiver. Everything he did was smooth and powerful. I can't believe he is rated as a possible third round pick. The Texans could use Alex and his pass rushing ability. Better they could get him in the second round.

Saying All That!

The clear winner at the PD could have been Vince Young. He didn't work out of do interviews but he threw the ball with near perfect precision. By my count he only missed one pass on a over throw.

Seen here with Gil Brandt and Mack Brown. Afterward Gil dissed on Vince.

Brandt was more effusive in his praise, saying Young "put on a show" and was "magnificent" passing the ball in the pocket and on the run. Brandt touted Young's accuracy; a few of Young's long tosses to Texas receiver Marquise Goodwin drew "oohs" and "aahs" from the crowd.
The coverage was pure greatness on the LHN. Ricky Wiliams keeps getting better and we will see an expansion of his work on the big network.
