Thought I would post this and see where the conversation goes. Is it Malcolm Brown, Joe Bergeron or Fozzy Whittaker? See the stats below:

There was a good article in the Fort Worth Star Telegram today about how Texas is "Turning Back the Clock" with the running game. Reminiscent of the 70's when Earl Campbell ruled the 40 acres and the team posted 3 consecutive 400+ yard rushing performances. If our guys can manage another in Columbia this Saturday, this would be something special. Good thing to come from this young squad.

For the first time in 34 years, No. 16 Texas (6-2, 3-2 in Big 12) will head into a football game Saturday coming off consecutive 400-yard rushing performances. Yes, those are Campbellesque numbers and, no, that's not a misprint.
Good article. I think we have a really special tandem of running backs this year and it will only get better with Jonathan Gray coming in next year.

Thanks for the post bud.

To answer your post Malcolm Brown is the most talented back but Whittaker is absolutely amazing when he is healthy. Bergeron is kinda new but obviously has a heap of talent and should be used every game no matter what. He is a demolition man.

As far as I am concerned... it does not really matter which of the three is the best. They are all Longhorns and are all excellent in the backfield. Its really a blessing to have a solid 3 man rotation and not lose a thing no matter who is in the backfield next to Ash. It keeps anybody from wearing down over the course of the game because they all have the big play potential. It does not matter who is in the game... when we run the ball good things happen. Period.
