Is it Foreman.... Or is he coming? Seems we never went deep..... Dependable receivers are needed, but we need that special burst occasionally.

I don't understand why we couldn't run any kind of quick WR screens with Daje or Foreman in order to get the ball in their hands rather than running the same predictable WR reverse. It doesn't really require the OL to block for too long. It just seemed Watson wasn't very creative in getting the ball into playmaker's hands.

Don't sleep on MJ. . .

And we threw plenty of deep balls to open WRs. . . we just need to find a QB who can get the ball in their zip code.. . .

We lack true playmakers at the position. This is why we need Lodge or Strickland. We need guys with the "my ball" mentality who will high point the football. Gilbert Johnson looks like this type of player. Let's hope he qualifies.

There is no way of knowing because swoops couldn't throw a beach ball into a pool. Anytime we had someone wide open or on the run he didn't make the throw. The only time someone made a catch was when it was a shallow pass or a jump ball and the receiver had to do all the work. Forman is a difference maker, but the coaches refused to play the freshmen. I personally think our undergrads are better than our upperclass men in the skilled position department.
