Well after everybody had their hearts ripped out with the Week 1 debacle, and we learned that most of us (me included) drank way too much koolaid. What's your prediction for this week? Here's mine:UT 51-24

An "inspired" looking win against a lesser opponent which will serve to get everyone's hopes up way too high before we come crashing back to earth following the USC game. Seems to be our MO the last handful of years...

I'm not sure the offense is good enough to score 50 against any defense right now. I'm going 35-17. I do expect that Heard gets some snaps in the WC and he helps jump start the running game to the tune of over 180 yards. If Buechele is still injured, look for more lateral and short throws and what appears to be an uninspiring passing game.

If we beat them 50 to nothing it will not make me feel any better about this team right now. That's the problem with these kinds of games.

I just want to see a all around dominate team against a SJSU ball club. If I see domination and hitting assignements it'll help with last weeks dibacle no matter who the team is., I'm going to say 35-7 UT with confidence going into the colosseum

Here's what I'm thinking . . . call me crazy, I don't care.

Seems to me that Buechele is missing an awful lot of practice for someone who intends to start. I have suspicion we'll end up seeing the freshman either start, or come in soon after first drive. Passing game will be ineffective with a shoulder that isn't working right. And given our trouble with running, we have to be able to pass the ball.

If that happens, I see a fiery Ehlinger injecting some real passion into this offense. It will start a QB controversy because of the success. Right now, this offense needs some passion and energy (aside from getting assignments right). I just have my doubts on such a young guy being able to lead a group where everyone is older. We'll see. Ehlinger types either tantalize you or crush you, as a fan. He's a gambler.

SJSU's offense is horrible. So this will be a confidence builder for our D.

SHA, obviously they were different class but who was a better player in HS? Sam or Shane? Was Sam one of the "must gets" for that recruiting year? Is he a freak who

could be UT new face? Don't know much bout him besides injury plagued I believe.  I know his height and run game cannot hurt.

Both were four star rated QBs. Ehlinger was probably more heralded because he played at Westlake and they won a lot. Buechele, despite being the son of a former Ranger, wasn't hyped as much here in the Metroplex.

In my personal opinion, I think Ehlinger was the better HS QB because he was more physical and has a moxie in him similar to Applewhite. Shane is a solid QB with a nice arm and he's very smart, lives the game of football every day.

I'm glad we have both. But I think Ehlinger wins the job once he grows up some.

I hate how the "like" is a heart just FYI lol putting a heart out there to all these men just seems odd.  ^_^
