This tweet from Matt Scott is right on the money, "I said well before this game. UK"s size is a tough match up for KU. This game just happened to fall in a season that KU has no real big."

This is why  I said Texas has a legit shot to knock off Kansas this year. Ibeh, Turner, Holmes and Ridley are going to give Kansas all types of fits. They simply don't have the bigs to go toe to toe with us this year. The only way Kansas will be able to beat us this year is if they make it a perimeter/guard game.

I'm actually more worried about Iowa State. I know Kansas is Kansas, but we have a huge mismatch with bigs this year.

Should be an interesting Texas- Kentucky matchup. Bigs vs bigs. Kansas was overmatched, hope Barnes was taking notes. Kentucky looked like a high paced street game, athletes running and jumping everywhere. Not sure if they had an offensive plan or just go nuts and get to the basket mentality. Hopefully Horns offensive sets slow them down.

I won't go that far because Kansas almost always struggles early in non-conference play. Plays elite basketball in Big 12 play, and then makes an early exit in the NCAA tournament. Until proven otherwise, I will take the 10x champ.

UK has like 9 McDonald's All-Americans. Thats why they dismantled KU. We don't have that kind of talent. OU has a very good team this year as well. I suspect we will finish anywhere from 1st to 3rd, depending on our guard play. Nationally I suspect maybe an elite 8 finish depending on bracket pairings. Too many really good teams this year. We should be fun to watch though.

your consistency extends to basketball, I see.

I too think we have a shot at it due to our depth. We win our games at home and pull off a surprise or two on the road and we could win it.

If we play like we have tonight then it won't be pretty. Let's hope we clean this up
