Recap of Week 11:

Baylor bounces OU in Norman
A 48-14 win by the Bears, was their first-ever win on the road against OU. The Sooners led 14-3 before the Bears rolled up 45 unanswered points. To add to the Sooner's disastrous afternoon, Trevor Knight was carted off the field after being sacked, and the home crowd rained boo’s throughout the second half.


The purple bowl
It was billed as the game of the weekend, but TCU romped over KSU, 41-20. The Horned Frogs took a 14-0 lead in the 1st quarter and never looked back. Despite a huge game from Tyler Lockett, TCU’s Trevone Boykin accounted for 4 touchdowns and Aaron Green ran for 123 yards and a score.


Charlie crowd surfs
The Longhorns beat No. 23 West Virginia to give Charlie Strong his first win over a ranked opponent as Texas Head Coach. Texas raced to a 24-3 halftime lead and players hoisted Strong onto their shoulders in the locker room celebration.


The best of the worst
Kansas 34 – Iowa State 14 and it wasn’t as close as the score indicates. The win over the Cyclones is only the Jayhawks’ second conference win in the last four years.

Big 12 Game of the Week:

Texas at Oklahoma State (6:30pm, CST on FOX)

A weak Big 12 slate makes this game the only notable game of the week. Both the Horns and Cowboys are in desperate need of a win to clinch bowl eligibility. The two teams are trending in opposite directions, but with the Longhorns’ inconsistencies, most fans are anticipating a close game.
