At least this time it does. I love my volunteer work but not when it takes me away from National Signing Day like it did on Wednesday. Had to travel and be in an ALL day meeting and was not able to update the website or twitter, etc... I consider my volunteer work extremely fulfilling because it ultimately benefits the kids and families of the state of Texas. I just got back to Houston today and A BIG THANKS TO BEEVOMAV for providing updates AND HUMOR on the message boards in my absence. Beevomav is the kinda guy you want around at bachelor parties AND war times... The coolest of the cool.
This site began because of one thing: my passion and love for the University of Texas and its athletic programs. The premise of this site is that it will ALWAYS be free, no matter what. I love our state and i equally love the burnt orange. I revisited the Alamo while on my trip and it put a lot into perspective (again) for me. What I know is that it is extremely special to be a Texan, and that is something that I will NEVER take for granted. Too many cool badasses lost their lives to ensure that.
Enough of my soapbox. Thanks to all who visit the site and post your thoughts and passion. This is a site for fans and by fans. Hook'em.
