I won't lie. VInce doesn't exactly have the best mechanics but I agree with the article in that they should have tried to tamper with his mechanics. I love VY just as much as the next guy but he was not a great pro qb. Greatest college football player ever IMO but he gave it a whirl in the NFL and it didn't work out. I like Fisher and I do not think it was his fault that Young did not succeed.

Never been a Fisher fan. I think he gets a lot of respect and hasn't done a thing to deserve it. Guys like Tebow, Sanchez and others get plenty of chances..The guy who replaced Vince in Buffalo, Tavaris Jackson, has a record of a starter of 17-17, has poor stats and yet he gets another chance?

My point was that even though Bud Adams is the owner, Jeff Fisher was the coach and that deserves some serious consideration before dictating who is drafted. Adams had his mind made up because of a vendetta against the city of Houston. I don't know if he really liked VY that much or hated Houston more.

Just read where Colt McCoy had a QB rating of 119.1 and led the AFC is passer rating..Maybe there is a bias against winning qb's..Sorry ass Aggies qb's still in the league and Tannerhill given the starting job in Miami. Although I still think it was because of his wife.

I hate that it went down like this for Vince. I find it very hard that he is not considered to be a backup for some team in the NFL. And to be replaced by Tarvaris Jackson is absurd. Had Matt Flyn rolled into Buffalo I might believe it. Jackson is still living off the one halfway decent season he had in Minnesota years ago.
