Hey Horns,

New to your board. Just wondering what you all think about our game Sat? You thumped us pretty good at home last time but we're playing a ton better of late. Got any predictions?

what a coincidence that you dropped by today. see you Saturday.

I think Texas wins by 10+. Texas defends and rebounds better than anyone else in the Big 12.

WVU on a hot streak. I think it'll be a good game. Because of home court, I think Texas by 6.

I'm pretty sure you all will crush us on the boards. This team isn't like Huggs' BE teams that were known for defense and rebounding. That said we are shooting the lights out from 3 pt land. I think it will be a tight game if we're still hot from 3 pt land.

If we learned anything from the KState game then Texas should play hard and control most of the game However, if we don't show up ready to fight then we could easily lose by 10. I expect it to be a competitive game Horns 67-59

It could depend upon whether or not Holmes plays.

Road games are always scary, and Huggins is a hell of a coach.

I think the Horns win, but....

WV is very hot. I hope we bring our A game, which includes a healthy Holmes.

no depends on any thing.....Longhorns takes it to the Mountaineers and, win by 13.

West Virginia has really improved. IMO the game comes down to Staten. The West Virginia offense is really predicated on Staten creating and penetrating the lane. If Texas is able to contain Staten, I think Texas wins fairly easy. Texas has a big size advantage down low too. We out rebounded you by nearly 20 boards last game, if we get Holmes back WV will have a huge problem containing our size. I think it will be a good game, but I like Texas especially at home.

WVU had 13 steals and 7 blocks and still lost by 11 points at home. I doubt Texas is going to turn it over 18 times again, as I doubt WVU will have a lot of open looks from BTA like they did against ISU.

All this talk regarding wvu brings me back to a sweet buzzer beater by Paulino to down the mountain men in the tourney years ago. Good times.

Favorite player from WVU was Kevin Pittsnogle. He was a nasty inside player and a great shooter. Kinda like a Kevin Love.

Nice job pulling the name pittsnogle out of nowhere! I think he is the only former player any of us can come up with from recent wvu teams. Was a good player, big dude!

Thanks! I'm a college football and basketball junkie. My gfs know not to bother me on Saturdays.
