Upset and confused.

I am still in shock over the events of tonight. After all the rumors, how is it that we end up with Strong??

I'm obviously really upset. Did we reach out to Fisher or Malazan??? I have a hard time believing that several coaches would turn us down to stay put at their schools.

I will support strong, but I'm already anticipating the next coaching hire in the 3 or 4 years.

I have to begin to think that all the so called big game coaches didnt have tough enough skin to take the job. It takes someone who displays true grit and determination to get it done at Texas. Most importantly why the hell would we want someone who is scared of the fan base, the politics, and the BMD. New saying should be " We're Texas Strong"!!!!

With the Big Money Goat Rope around here you can't be shocked guys. Professionals want professionally ran organizations. Perhaps Patterson can make the UT A Dept that type of operation, but right now it is and for a long time has been a clown show.

Patterson can come out and say he asked all Tier 1 coaches and they all said no and several people (even in this thread) STILL wouldn't believe him.

If you want things to change, you better start to hope and pray the people with money stop acting like they own a piece of UT athletics and let the athletic department and the athletic director do their job. UT has too many "wanna be chiefs" who all think they deserve to have a say so.
