Uh oh

TheContractor I feel the same way I use to not feel like that. MB is going to do eveything he can to stop Saban from coming. Not sure why he thinks that is his call and MB has lost the support of the fan base. McPhaul said it going to happen so I am trying to just relax till it's over. My friends y'all have a great week.
Mack is flirting with being a reviled individual. If he cock-blocks Saban, every loss for the next 5 years, rightly or wrongly, will be blamed on Mack Brown. I think he severance has been full pay for the past three years and his insistence that he is entitled to anything other than what is stipulated in his contract borders on disgusting. And Patterson is about to be known as the guy who didn't have the balls to stand up to Mack Brown and was too weak to protect the best interests of the program.

It's Thursday evening, its already 3 days too long.
Remember, the leak came, most likely from Powers, the BOR, a group of BMDs , or from Patterson, not from Mack. Mack is going through a process and it is taking him time to get to the point of announcing. If it doesn't happen soon, I suspect we will have more pressure put on Mack. I don't trust Mack, but the guys with power want him gone, and I do trust that they know how to fire or get people to leave.

I think my greatest fear, is that he does keep pushing this back, trying to keep delaying it to the point Saban throws up his hands, and signs that extension with Bama. However, I do hope that if Mack does try this, Patterson has the balls to announce that Mack is no longer the coach and move on with the plan to get Saban. I have to think that after all the work and time and money they have thrown into trying to get Saban, they arent going to let Mack destroy that.

When old timers like Jim's Texas jump off the Mack bandwagon you know MB has screwed the pooch.

Mcphaul, do you have any word on if the meeting between Powers and Mack not happening tonight could jeopardize anything? Or any word on when they are wanting Mack to announce he is stepping down?

Y'all are all being trolled.

Hopefully y'all honestly dont think Saban is 100%. I think there is a chance. A slim one, but a chance.

Mack is going to dig in and make it hard.

Mack won't meet with powers and Patterson now until tomorrow. And the longer Mack seems to drag it out I think he knows it hurts texas chances with Saban

Of course he is going to say it doesn't jeopardize the chances at Saban. He's been 100% for awhile now.

He has to go down with the ship now.

McPhaul has been correct about most everything regarding this story. If things change, I suspect Darrell will hear about it and let us know

Randolph Duke we all heard that Patterson was a take charge person I think we will find out. It looks like MB has Patterson backed in a corner so we will find out how Patterson handles this. My good friends y'all have a great week.

If he's supposed to announce Saturday, will the school make an announcement tomorrow? How will it go down?

Time to shut him off from his air transport

Mack is headed back to Austin? looks like he changed his plans.... N454TB
Looks like he's head back to Austin after visiting Cuney.

I doubt Powers and Patterson will be in bed by 7 pm. They can easily meet tonight to nail down the announcement(tomorrow or Saturday).

I get this isn't going according to people's imagined timelines but take a deep breath, relax and just let it play out.
