this has to do with mack not making it back tonight, but mostly cause he wants tomorrow night to be about the kids. it still equals out to a public announcement saturday, and saban announcement monday or tuesday AM, tomorrow is his going away party basically, especially with all the former players coming back..

I agree this has gone on long enough, as a matter of fact too long. I don't believe anyone person is bigger that the UT Football program. Mac has been given every chance to go out gracefully but has elected the scorched earth method. I say Patterson announces a press conference for Saturday, since the banquet is about the kids, and if Mac is there great if not great, make the decision for him.

It's still pretty clear that Mack is delaying his return to Austin as long as he can because he knows what's here when he gets here.

This will not drag out too long, IMHO. Mack is trying to hang on But Powers has his orders from the BOR, get this done. The pressure will be on Mack to announce, if he doesn't then I suspect Powers or a surrogate will announce for Mack thus pressuring him to announce instead of outright firing Mack.

TheContractor I feel the same way I use to not feel like that. MB is going to do eveything he can to stop Saban from coming. Not sure why he thinks that is his call and MB has lost the support of the fan base. McPhaul said it going to happen so I am trying to just relax till it's over.
