There has been a lot of discussion on why Texas offered Swoopes over Barrett.

For the record, Urban Meyer offered Swoopes first over Barrett too.

When both Manziel and Winston had their legal problems and were suspended from playing during the season, why did none of the guys who were talking about Mack not offering bring up how possibly Mack was right not to have offered?

Barrett seems like the first one in a while Mack actually should have offered.

If Miller elected to transfer, I can't see him selecting a school like Texas that is at the beginning of a rebuild and shaky offensive line.

I was thinking of QB.

If Heard is that far behind in his development and I doubt a true frosh Gentry will be ready, then it Swoopes.  Maybe with a full Spring knowing hes gonna start Swoopes can develop more.  /shrugs

Everything I have heard it's going to be Swoopes unless Heard is able to flip a big switch.

Heard is going to have to spend a lot of time in the classroom and then be able to parlay that to the field.  

I too believe that Swoopes has the tools and is capable of evolving into serviceable QB.  

To be honest about Swoopes, I expected him to have his struggles but, I didn't expect him to show such a high ceiling.

this TEXAS player is just a terrific / wonderful / great person all together.​

however, the citizens of TEXAS know great football players.  no one can easily fool a great TEXAS football mind!​
