Twitter war between Clay Travis and IT going on

Basically Travis and his website outkickthecoverage.com posted some info from a chat over at IT from last night and the guys from IT are MAD AS FIRE.

I think IT has a legit beef. They work hard. It's kindof unfair that their stuff is essentially "stolen" and posted on other boards.

I'd be on fire too if I were IT. Sure they'll probably get a lot of subs and looks at their site from his link, but I think it's a major no-no to take information from a chat transcript and run with it as news. That's what he's trying to do. And I think he's wrong.

Clay Travis is an ass. How he landed a spot on Fox doing studio work duing Big 12 games is beyond me. He is also one of the biggest aggy homers out there. He figured if he wrote glowing pieces about aggy he would get a lot of hits on his site, so he has been squealing excitedly over all thinks aggy over the past year like a teeny-bopper at a Justin Beiber concert.

That he would ignore IT's copyright and use their work to promote his commercial activities doesn't surprise me in the least.

Clay Travis is an asshole. Strange to see Ketch in there as well acting like there is no issue. Are we to assume Orangebloods wouldnt be pissed if someone took one of his reports (when they still reported good info) and posted it word for word on the internet for the whole world to see?

I agree. Whether I liked IT or not (and I do), I would never visit his site again because of this kind of blatant attempt to build hits from another's hard work. This simply identifies him as the worst kind of hack.

this is prob right and it pisses me off. IT has dominated this for a year now. They deserve all the credit. OB has had exactly zero. Hopefully IT's sources wont let them get burned by someone giving Ketch the heads up to get the glory

Ain't that the truth. He would be LIVID if someone did that.

It's one thing for people to post the War Room or Q/A w/JS on another premium message board, (which IMO is HIGHLY questionable,) but to take a snapshot from a paid site's live chat, and run with it on a somewhat mainstream site like Fox Sports College Blog/Outkick w/o permission from JS/IT is complete BS. Clay Travis may end up being in a bit of hot water over this one when the dust settles.

Ketch knows it, I know it, and most of y'all know it. He's just poking the hornet's nest with a stick. He had better be very careful or something similar will come back and bite him square on the ass.
