I know the trendy thing to do is say F U Mack Brown, because so many people want a change. The sad thing is that so many people carry that over to their support of the team. I've even seen people post that they are hoping for a loss or that they won't attend a home game in protest. What the F@#K!?! Are you kidding me? Where have your loyalties gone? "We Are Texas" does not just mean that we are the richest kids on the block, it doesn't just mean that we have the richest program history, it does not mean that we can just win because we schedule the game, it means that we are together greater than our individual selves and are bound by a common bond - the University of Texas! But if we, as a student, alumni, and fan base fail to uphold our responsibilities and support the program that we hold dear then we will ultimately be responsible for the downfall. Tradition is not something that is given, it is earned. We have the opportunity to influence the atmosphere that is Texas and if we want to be fair weather and not show up for home games, then that's what we will be known as, a fair weather fan base. But if we want to show our team that we appreciate them and the joy that they bring us with every win then we need to show up and let them know it.

If you are like me your weekend revolves around UT football games and your attitude for the rest of the weekend, hell sometimes the rest of the week, is determined by the outcome of the game. F the haters! If you can go to the game and be loud as sh1t. It might just make a difference.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels that way. Don't get me wrong, I love the DKR as much as your next Longhorn. But there parts of this stadium that are severely outdated. And for it having one of the best videoboards in Godzillatron, the audio in DKR is abysmal in comparison to some other Stadiums. Hopefully these are things that Patterson is going to help with.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels that way. Don't get me wrong, I love the DKR as much as your next Longhorn. But there parts of this stadium that are severely outdated. I agree. Someone else mentioned it but the ads/commercials are extremely annoying and really kill the atmosphere. Some badass bar music or even popular hip hop to get the crowd more involved.
