Trouble in Buffalo for Vince Young

Buffalo Bills head coach Chan Gailey said QB Vince Young is having trouble picking up the nuances of the offense because Gailey has added things to the playbook each of the last two seasons. 'It would not have been as hard two years ago, but we are in so much more of an advanced stage now than we were two years ago. He is trying to learn what the base concepts are and how we have advanced to where we are today without the benefit of going through the baby steps,' Gailey said.

Tyler Thigpen ran with the second unit exclusively yesterday. Former Mizzou QB and current Bills WR Brad Smith has been running with the QBs this offseason to learn the system, and will be used in the Wildcat. He will be the #3 QB for the team this year, so Thigpen and Young are in a battle for a roster spot.

Vince has to pick it up, this is his last shot.
