Its too bad that its Koenning - he's a hell of a coach. Opens the door for Strong to bring in Wyatt, Brewster, or another good recruiter.Official, Chambers and Koenning

That's what I was thinking. My wish is they hired Lincoln Riley. Coach Strong talked to Riley last year about a position. Ever since he left Texas Tech and went to East Carolina as the OC, they have been one of the best offenses in college football. He's a rising star and is innovative which after Monday this offense could use.If Watson isn't leaving, anyone think it's possible that we have Watson only coach Qbs and bring in someone sole take on OC duties? Or is that just just my wishful thinking?
Agree, one could argue he coached his position as well as anyone this yrIts too bad that its Koenning - he's a hell of a coach. Opens the door for Strong to bring in Wyatt, Brewster, or another good recruiter.
Hope I'm wrong, but be prepared to be underwhelmed by who is hired. I just don't have a lot a lot of confidence in the team that C.Strong wants to put together.I'm surprised at the Koenning firing. I thought he did well with Harris.
If I'm a betting man, I'd say that he'll go out and get someone nobody is talking or even thinking about. Someone he's coached with.
So far, the only big name hire he's made on his staff has been Wickline. He's got an open checkbook but hasn't seemed to want anybody that he's not familiar with. Just an observation from last year...
