Tony Gwynn made it through surgery

14 hours of surgery today when doctors removed a malignant tumor from his cheek. The result of chewing tobacco. Gwynn is a solid guy and I wish him the best. Used to live in San Diego and I cannot think of anyone that doesn't like the Hall of Famer.

MAn, I read all about it and his wife wasn't sure if he would look the same after the surgery. Supposedly he did really well and they got all of the tumor. I too dig Tony. A helluva hitter, one of the best ever.

Glad to hear he is ok. TG is a Cocky sob but one of the Finest hitters ever to play the Game. Tobacco Sucks guys.
