On Heard at QB-"His usage is always going to be dependent on the health of the other two QB's"

This only makes sense to me IF he's concerned about Heard's contribution to the team as a WR. And I can't imagine he would be considering WR is the deepest group on the team. He could easily start Heard and have Shane as backup. With Sam hurt and Shane not being able to perform consistently due to the OL, why wouldn't Tom at least give it a shot? It's not like Heard hasn't won games as QB...and imo he'd at least be as efficient as Sam...When asked about Jerrod Heard and the possibility of him getting more snaps at QB, Herman points out that a lot of his usage is dependent on how healthy Sam Ehlinger. He does not want to risk losing his only backup QB if Ehlinger is not available.
