Tuesday's thought (defense)
Wednesday's thought (fair food)
Total Offense
vs BYU: 258 yds
vs UCLA: 322 yds.
vs KU: 329 yds.
vs Baylor: 334 yds
Lost in the discussion on the offensive output in the Baylor game is the fact that Texas ran the ball well enough to continue an extremely modest trend of improving total yardage output.
Quite simply the goal for the OU game should be to combine the rushing success of the Baylor game with Ty Swoopes' performance in the passing game vs UCLA. That would net about 400 total yards and, for now, combining those performances appears to be the ceiling for the offense.
Given the way the defense is playing, that kind of output is enough to beat OU with a positive turnover margin and no major ST gaffes.
